I think I can blame this on my Metformin but it sure is strange. Gradually, one by one, I've developed a severe dislike for meat - all meat. It started with chicken, and then turkey, and then fish. For awhile beef was still good, but this week I haven't been able to get any meat past my tastebuds. I get nauseated even if I'm able to force myself to eat it. I feel energetic if I chose yogurt and fruit, or cottage cheese and fruit, or even just lettuce, spinach or raw veggies. Starchy foods like bread taste good too. But now the only "meat" I can eat is fish, and I think it will be the same as the rest soon. I've read that the med can cause taste changes. But I can't go off the med. YUCK. I have never ever disliked meat before.
